This notice explains what personal data BadlapurCity uses, why it is used, and the controls available to you.
Who is responsible
BadlapurCity is operated by ACWS Global. Privacy questions and grievances can be sent to info@acws.in.
Data we process
- Account data such as name, email address, phone number, date of birth and authentication identifiers.
- Profile data, preferences, membership state and public contribution history.
- Listings, reviews, images, messages and other content you choose to submit.
- Device, notification, diagnostics, security and basic usage events needed to operate and protect the service.
- Location only when you grant permission and use a location-based feature.
- KISHU prompts and conversation context when AI assistance or memory is enabled.
Why we use it
We use essential data to create and secure accounts, operate city services, moderate contributions, provide requested features, prevent abuse, answer support requests and meet legal obligations. Optional data may be used for personalization, analytics, local suggestions, AI assistance and promotional communication according to your choices.
Your choices and rights
Open Settings → Privacy & Data Rights to change optional consent, request access or export, ask for correction or erasure, raise a grievance, register a nominee, or request account deletion. Withdrawing optional consent does not affect processing already completed lawfully or essential processing required to provide the service.
Children
New self-service registration is currently limited to people aged 18 or over. We will not enable registration for children until a verifiable parental-consent process and required safeguards are operational.
Sharing and processors
We use contracted infrastructure and service providers for authentication, databases, hosting, storage, maps, notifications, analytics and advertising. They process data for providing those services and under applicable safeguards. Public contributions are visible according to moderation and visibility state. We do not sell personal data.
Storage, security and retention
We apply access controls, row-level security, encrypted transport, restricted storage paths and audit records. Data is retained only for service, security, dispute and legal periods in our retention schedule, then deleted or anonymized. No system can guarantee absolute security; report suspected misuse promptly.
Incidents and complaints
If a personal-data incident is likely to affect you, we will provide notices required by applicable law. Contact info@acws.in or submit a grievance in the app. Remedies available from the Data Protection Board of India may also apply.
Updates
Material changes will be presented through the app or another appropriate channel. The version above identifies the notice associated with your recorded choice.
